In an annual audit performed by the National Quality Assurance (NQA) organization, which is the governing body for worldwide certification standards in areas of quality, environmental, aerospace, health & safety, information security and business continuity, SSE received a satisfactory audit report with zero non-conformities (neither major nor minor!) to the ISO 9001:2008 international standards of quality. The ISO 9001:2008 surveillance audit reviews the overall Management System of the business, including the following areas:
- Goals & Objectives
- Operational Control
- Customer Satisfaction/Complaints
- Corrective and Preventative Action
- Continual Improvement Activities
- Key Changes (to ensure integrity of quality system is maintained)
The auditor also evaluated the functional processes of the organization, including all processes in place for each division of the company, training solutions and network infrastructure services, and processes for Nonconformance Control, Resource Management and overall Management and Mandatory processes.
It was noted in the audit report that “annual management review and quarterly business review meetings are well documented, and appear to drive continual improvements throughout the organization.” SSE’s employees that were included in the audit were also praised for their thorough understanding of how their individual efforts affect customer satisfaction and organizational requirements.
This was SSE’s first official NQA annual audit since achieving their ISO 9001:2008 certification in May of last year.
