SSE to Sell Commercial Learning Business to i3 Logic

As of July 31, 2014 SSE’s long time commercial Learning Services division will be transitioned to a national performance improvement company.  For over 30 years, SSE has supported local enterprise companies, including Anheuser-Busch, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, RehabCare Group, MasterCard and Ameren, with instructor-led training, eLearning and learning performance support.

The business is being absorbed by I3 Logic, headquartered in Royal Oak, Michigan.  The mission and service offerings of the two learning companies are almost identical, making the transition an exceptional fit.   I3 Logic provides performance improvement and change management consulting, learning analysis and strategy, and custom training and eLearning solutions, including gaming, simulations and performance support.  Their methodology of “combining expertise in human performance with technical flare” mirrors SSE’s longtime practice of using innovative technologies to develop custom learning solutions.

“It was a bittersweet decision for me,” said Niedringhaus.  “Our Commercial Learning Division has a rich 30 year history here in the St. Louis area providing learning consulting and custom solutions for enterprise companies.  It is hard to let go of that.  At this time, I felt like partnering with i3 Logic on this transition was the best possible move for our current team and resources to continue to grow and succeed in the commercial learning arena.”

While i3 Logic is headquartered in Michigan, current SSE Vice President of Learning Services, Sharon Kramer, will continue to consult from St. Louis to serve the St. Louis region and surrounding areas.

“Sharon has an extensive learning background and great business relationships with many big companies in the St. Louis region and this transition to i3 Logic will only help her grow those relationships,” Niedringhaus said.
