Our Story
When Susan S. Elliott founded Systems Service Enterprises Inc. in 1966, she recognized that change was coming. Technological developments were unfolding rapidly, and significant advancements were starting to make companies around the world sit up and take notice.
But how were they supposed to incorporate a solution that they knew nothing about? Wouldn’t switching gears to a technology-based infrastructure make things that much more complicated and end up costing them a fortune? Problems like that are the ones Elliott set out to solve, and they’re the same problems SSE excels at solving today.
As we further concentrated our focus on the PC platform in the early 1980s, we began to align our services with companies that needed help identifying, procuring, and installing high-quality hardware and the software that would run on it. From there, we developed our training services alongside our IT offering, working diligently in both areas to set the standard for exceptional service.

A History Of Adaptability
Once corporations began to embrace enterprise technology on a broader scale, they needed assistance with configuring and managing deployment and ongoing support. And once again, SSE was there to answer the call. Our experience allowed us to further cultivate a reputation for delivering desktop support and advanced technology management services.
In the 1990s, SSE formed a network infrastructure practice, known today as our Network Services division. We continue to deploy these services in situations that demand simple, streamlined communication and collaboration for our client-partners.
In 2002, SSE expanded our offerings to serve the needs of government clients. SSE’s capabilities have translated directly to serving the public sector as both a partner to prime government contractors and as a direct service provider. We’ve continually positioned ourselves on the cutting edge, and thanks to this, we have become a go-to partner for clients in both the public and private sector who are looking to improve the way they operate.
With more than a half-century in the industry, SSE has proven time and time again that we’re more than simply willing to adapt and continue our mission of delivering high-quality service. It’s a necessity. We recognize that the world of technology can appear as an immense, amorphous object that you have no hope of understanding.
