SeaPort Next Generation
SSE has been awarded a place on a potential 10-year, $50B contract vehicle for project management and engineering support services with the US Navy called SeaPort Next Generation.
This will enable SSE to compete for individual task orders across 23 functional areas under the SeaPort Next Generation indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The Department of Defense estimates the government will procure $5B worth of services annually through SeaPort-NxG, which contains a five-year base period of performance and a five-year ordering period option.
The scope of work mentioned in the solicitation notice includes some of SSE’s core competencies including network support, information assurance, system and technology support, and training support.
SeaPort-e is the US Navy’s contract vehicle to procure all future engineering, technical, logistics, program management, and financial support services.
